Average Transfer Units

Average Transfer Units refers to the average total transferable units earned at all colleges or universities other than SDSU for all new undergraduate students. For post-baccalaureate students, the Average Transfer Units refers to the average total transferable units earned at all colleges prior to transfer and subsequent to receiving a baccalaureate degree for all new graduate students.

Logical Transformation/Calculation[edit | edit source]

Average Transfer Units can be calculated by adding the Transfer units earned by each student in a cohort and dividing that sum by the number of Transfers in cohort:

Average Transfer Units = Sum of Transfer Units / Transfer Cohort headcount.
