Average Units After Year 1 (Avg Units Yr1) refers to the average number of total units accumulated for all new undergraduates still enrolled at the university at the end of their first matriculation year.

Logical Transformation/Calculation[edit | edit source]

The Average Units After Year 1 can be calculated by adding the Units earned by each student in a cohort who is still enrolled at the end of their first matriculation year and dividing that sum by number of students still enrolled in cohort at the end of that year:

Average Units After Year 1 = Sum of units after year 1 / Cohort headcount.
