Academic Plan (Acad Plan) is an area of study—such as a major, minor, or specialization—that is within an academic program or within an academic career. The Academic Plan code replaces the Legacy SIMS Major Code, as shown in the image below. The Academic Plan code consists of 9-to-10 digits that identifies the student's primary major degree program, degree type, and campus of enrollment.
