Academic Probation

Academic Probation indicates when a student’s academic performance has fallen below the state minimum required for graduation. Students are placed on academic probation at the end of the semester when their SDSU grade point average (GPA) and/or cumulative GPA falls below a 2.0 (less than a “C” average).
