Percent DFW (% DFW) is the proportion of students earning D's, F's, and Withdrawals (W, WU) in a course.

Logical Transformation/Calculation[edit | edit source]

% DFW = (Students with DFW / Number of students graded) * 100.

Examples[edit | edit source]

For a hypothetical example for a particular course:

Students with DFW = 20

Students Graded = 100

% DFW = (20 / 100) * 100 = 20%
