Empl ID is a unique, campus assigned identification number used as the primary ID for a student by the campus. This number is different from the SSN and the Campus Assigned ID Number.

Business Rules

Fifteen (15) numeric digits '000000000000001' thru '999999999999998' The following are invalid numbers:

  • All zeros
  • All 9s
  • Any alpha

If two or more identical Employee Identification Numbers are used, only the first is accepted. Additional records using the same number are rejected (C-004).

EXCEPTION: Two Employee Identification Numbers will be allowed in the same term: If for one record the campus code equals 15 and degree level code equals 3 AND if for the second record the campus code equals 15 and degree level code equals 6, then Concentration Code must be the same or begin with ""09"" in each record.
