Average GPA After Year 1 (Year 1 Average GPA, Avg GPA Yr 1) refers to the average cumulative total grade point average of new undergraduates still enrolled at the university at the end of their first matriculation year. The Average GPA After Year 1 can be calculated by adding the GPAs obtained by each student in a cohort who is still enrolled at the end of their first matriculation year and dividing that sum by number of students still enrolled in cohort at the end of that year.

Logical Transformation/Calculation[edit | edit source]

Average GPA After Year 1 = Sum of GPAs after year 1 / Cohort headcount.
